So my son recently shared this quote with me and it got me to thinking about the concepts of time and money.
"I spend money because spending time is hopeless"
While I don't agree with this quote at all, I will say that it definitely got my wheels turning. We do spend both time and money but it is much harder to make time than it is to make money.
Have you ever heard the saying, "Your days are numbered"? Well, it's true there is a very limited amount of time in each of our lifetimes. A lot of our time is obligated whether we like it or not. We have to spend time eating, sleeping, you get the idea.
I know that I've been living in a way that has led me to believe that I have little to no time for myself. But it's not true. I have far more control over my time than I previously thought.
Over the past couple months I have learned to manage my time better. I've also looked at how much time I have wasted on things that don't bring any meaning or value to my life. Wasting time on watching tv and movies is a bad habit that I am proud to say I have broken!
I've learned that my time is so precious because it is truly very limited. Money can be lost and found, but once time is lost it is lost forever.
